Ms. Rivas, a licensed and multilingual clinical social worker, working in the non-profit sector for more than 13 years. She has dealt with many different groups, including LGBTQ+, those dealing problems with addiction and victims of sexual assault, and intimate partners violence. In 2019, Ms. Rivas provides services to Erie residents. She is currently offering telehealth Behavioral Health services. Ms. Rivas belongs to the Perinatal team for Behavioral Health who work with pregnant women and postpartum mothers. She has been trained in trauma-informed and adult EMDR. She also provides Group as well as one-on-one therapy, a Medication assisted therapy program, referral to special care, and Women's Support group. Amanda works with Best Friends Animal Society to aid homeless animals to find a home. She wholeheartedly believes in Best Friends' slogan, save Them All and is determined to make Los Angeles become a no kill city.
